Quick Wiz/ DC question

Im leveling Mantrax as a Wiz atm and was wondering how many Wiz PLs he needs to be “good” in EH and “effective” in EE.

Mantrax is currently on Wiz life 2, plus he has Ftr and Bard PLs.

Ive no intention to get more Pen from FvS as I don’t like them but understand that Pen is a major facor in EE..

I guess what Im saying is will 3 Wiz past lives get me by for EE?

Yes 3 Wiz Past lives will get u through for EE Ryan. When u get FVS past lives u just can save 1 feat or some destiny points/twists . But in general 3 Past lives wiz are perfect .

It’s going to be a while yet before he gets there and who knows, maybe I’ll have a change of mind about the final life and do a couple of Sorcerer lives and finish up as a super Cleric. 🙂

Three wizard past lives will enable you to get +6 spell penetration without spending either action points or feats as Dom said. Nalfey have spell pen, greater spell pen and epic spell pen, but he has only the first spell pen enhancement. In any case, you will be fine once you decide to start play ee’s with your wizard.
