Non metal tower shield/heavy armor for druid

Hi all.

I’m building a bear-druid – my first ddo character ;).

I took a level as fighter for tower shields/heavy armor proficiencies. I thought it was a great idea, but in game I can’t find magical wood tower shields and non-metal heavy armors …

I searched the forums but it seems that Dragonscale Armor (14+ lvl) is the only viable heavy armor for druid. Did I miss something?

Believe so on the heavy, there are some other non metal medium armours in the epic levels (and leaves of the forest at lvl 15 – another medium iirc).

For shields you can get a crystal tower shield from the gianthold raid (lvl 14 ish)- madstone shield, and also alchemical crafting to make a more “custom” crystal tower shield , but also very high level (18+) stuff

Some old hands will have wooden tower shields in their banks, but due to the recent changes you will be better off with cannith crafted heavy shields of appropriate level once you get >lvl 6.

Hopefully the developers will expand on selection eventually, but suspect it will be a slow process
