    Hi all with the upcomming changes in pale maser i might reroll my main to something else.

    I’m am tinkering to marriage Inquisitive with Pale Master.

    The idea was to get Ing law dmg and weapons + EK spellsword + shadowdancer sneak dmg while keeping DC’s up for holds necro and other usefull spells.
    the normal feats would go toward IPS and ranged stuf and the extra wiz feats to spell DC.

    Here is a first mock up. I think it might be doable. First problem i encountered is that i dont have enough AP for EK adn harper tree. in this setup I choose EK which gives the spellsword and Int to hit. losing the Int to dmg and KTA. (which also might mean i could drop the whole ranged crit stuff)

    This build is in SD, but a switch to Magister for better DC can be made. I’ll have to exchange arti for rogue to keep evasion (i get it now from SD).
    Shiradi would be viable too but at a loss of extra Int which is the meat of all abilities in this build. if you go for spellpower procs a switch to tiefling might be good too.

    Good thing is also that all reaper trees help in this build, so the higher reaper the more this build will shine.

    according to the DDOBuilder necro dc would get to 96-ish outside of reaper. that is excluding the meta’s

    Good morning.

    => Why didn’t you take Metamagic spell focus enchant if you want to use enchant spells?
    If you haven’t you are not able to twist it.

    => If you want have a good CC at 30 at high reaper you need all gears is it compatible with DPS gears?

    => If you want self healing once again, you need appropriate gears to get a good negative heal amp.
    With PM changes you also will be able to be healed by positive spells and HARM is no more directional which make an hudge improvement for PM.

    I know that I’m not as experienced as you all are, but as far as I as I know it is really hard to have both high DPS and CC.

    I’m thinking along the same lines as Seb with regards to effective DC’s and DPS.

    Both are very feat and gear dependent and you could end up being just mediocre at both.

    That being said, in my mind, as long as you’re having fun and contributing something no matter how big or small then that’s all that counts.

    Thnx for the input and heads up.

    Gear would be a problem but the synergy with Int on both dps and DC would make things workable. The spellsword enhancement would give dps on every hit in from spellpower instead of ranged power.
    Also the use of any InQ build will result in proper dps, as InQ is broken.

    So for gearing focus on Int would be first then i can add sharn dc caster set and slot in range dps stuff as secondary gear. also can use 2 weapon sets xbow with ranged filly and DC stick + null weapon for dc and healing.

    I went with necro focus as enchant seems to be easier than necro IG. (most wizzys run necro and hold just fine)

    Its just exploring the build so its fun, atleast it will be a fun life. also the PM wil give pretty insane defense and healing + extra’s dps on every hit.

    So will just try, A wizzy with 100 int will add something in some way or another.

    Small changes. added the fighter lvl for extra feat and action boosts.
    Also did another AP split that adds ore dps to bolts at a loss of negative energy bypass in Pm tree and 2 necro points

    Just something:
    Necro or enchant success are really quest dependent:
    As far as I remember on R5 + in some sharm quest I was able to command with only 102 DC (Will save based) but was unable to stun with Soundburst with about 120 DC (Fortitude save based).
    I will be able to make some test in a few if you need more input on DC.

    More questions ,o).

    I can see you take “Heighten ” what kind of spell do you want to use with such meta?
    Not sure that a finger or hlod will be as competitive as inquisive DPS with IPS.

    I can understand mass hold but mass is LV9.

    A question: Endless fusiallade is really awesome for arti any 1 tried Inquisive arti with Endless fusiallade?

    I hope to do both dps and cast. With the quick swap feat. Highten is for all spell that are needed in q’s. so hold necro etc

    fusiladge and INQ T5 no holds barred is the same. they have the same CD, if you take both you get a bit more RP i believe. not worth the 20+ APs

    Did a first try on 17 wiz 2 arti 1 fight and i is rather fun!

    At 30 i have currently 92 INT, 80 enchantment, 90 necro (as i did necro focus)
    in the slavers r3 run i did the holds where pretty much no fail, except on those pesky kobalts your encounter. For necro 90 ish is proven to be low for endgame so not mush use there.

    Dps is pretty darn good esspecially after you hold and stunn everything.
    its stack up as 200 base, 100 sneak, 200 spellsword, 300 law, 200 leg feat and then some other small things from weapon.

    i also hoose to get arcane warrior which work ncely every bolt gives spellpower and the max stacks are easy to maintain. i only need to find a spell to spam for the RP.

    In this build i went for EK over pale master as U43 is not here yet with the PM updates.
    THis mains i can get the medium armor enhancement and take the arti set with electric dmg and medium armor for a kool 150 prr and 100 mrr.

    HP is a bit low at 1300. but with 44 reaper points it gets up to 1750 in reaper quests. but its a concern for later.

    Well thats it for now. Gonna get my FVS past lives so my spells will land on kobies and drow.
